Big Ballet image scoops another International award for North Devon Photographer

North Devon Photographer Guy Harrop is celebrating after winning a Silver award in the FEP (Federation of European Photographers) European Professional Photographer of the Year Award 2011 for one of his images of a Russian Ballet company touring the UK.  Guy's entry depicting Big Ballet stars getting ready for their performance at the Landmark theatre in Devon helped him win a silver award in the reportage category of the competition.  The prestigious International competition attracts entries from the world’s top professional photographers and this year, 2011, received over 2,000 entries from over 20 countries worldwide Guy who works across the Westcountry for his client base is regularly published both in regional and national press. This win adds to his tally of over 5 International awards in the last 3 years for his photographic work with images taken from both in the UK and abroad. “It is great to be recognised Internationally for my work and to win an award in such a prestigious competition is just fantastic news.
